The Perfect Gift

When I arrived at church last Sunday, I walked to my usual seat and prepared to plop myself down. Much to my surprise, there was a beautiful little package waiting there for me! I know you just laughed when you saw that the gift tag said To: BHE! And now you are thinking, "Why did someone at church leave a present for BHE?" Well, my BFF Noe Noe Girl has started her own blog!!! (Her son, Little T is also venturing out into the blog world. I think she has a future journalist on her hands:))

Noe Noe Girl is the coolest little Chica you will ever meet. She's sassy, funny, and she has some of the biggest hair I have ever seen! **Jealous** Her energy level knows no bounds. She and her husband BUILT THEIR OWN HOUSE. Not kidding!

Last week, she and I had a girls' night out with a group of friends. We had a limo take us around for a Tacky Light Tour, and then we went out for dinner. (We had to make one pit stop at Ben Franklin, but that's another story for another day.) Our faces hurt from laughing so much! (Don't expect to see pictures from this outing. There. Is. No. Photographic. Evidence.)

When I opened the gift, I could hardly contain my excitement!!!

Isn't it obvious that she TOTALLY "gets" me???

That is so cute. Such a sweet gift...just don't spray it in church...what with all the sunday candles going and all...you could wind up on the 5:00 news.

You know it worked for me! My mom once bought me a case of it for Christmas...I had a can a day habit at that time!

I have such fond memories of Aqua Net. Seriously, it reminds me of both my grandmother and my high school days!

It's really, really cold here right now. So cold that I considered wearing a hat to work yesterday. But then, I thought, "No, there's a reason all those northern women have flat hair." and decided to just suffer instead. :)

OK, next limo ride y'all need to mosey on over here.

The fact that those two built their own house together and did not divorce is a testament to their love, that's all I can say!

Oh, and the Ben Franklin...what memories I have of that place. Ours in the courthouse went out of business years ago, but my Lord MANY a CHEAP Christmas gift was purchased thre by the Chesapeake BAy Sisters for their parents and grandparents, much to their chagrin.

Aren't surprises awesome?
