This is Meg rescuing the lost noodles from an almost certain death at sea. (My little point & shoot camera had a hard time keeping up with the "big guns" on this trip! This shot may have been clear if she hadn't been three miles away at the time!!!)

Grandma J, Bayman and CB Mother gettin' cozy in the hot tub!

Grandma J with CB Mother and Father just before departure. We didn't want to leave, but Gustav had just had about enough!

Auds brought these snacks for us to taste. Evidently, Wicked Whoopies are the Maine equivalent of our Moon Pies. Who knew?? Let me tell you one thing, Cool Breeze and Snow White will have me ordering more before long!

"Twinkie" wasn't too happy when Grandma J began packing. He really wanted one more night to "fix her hair" while she slept!

More photos tomorrow!

GRRRRRRRRRRRR ... Blogger ate my comment

I think I said 'we need another batch of that ASAP ...and I am now very unhappy that we, Sea Shanty dwellers, missed out on the hot tub. Bayman is a hottie in or out of the tub'

Love your description of the events in recipe form! But, mostly I love to see the people I have come to know in the pictures! I am so glad that everyone had such a wonderful time!

Love all the pictures, but it really makes me mad that I could not go.
I am making a mad face right now. Do you feel it???

Awesome. That's a recipe even Martha would be envious of.

Love those pictures and captions. This will all be part of our documentary, which I think we need to work on as Stage II of Blog Fest.

That's the first recipe that I love that doesn't include ice cream.

Thank you for posting the high points of my trip! Twinkie was determined to turn me into a cat lover, and she succeeded!

The hot tub was fabulous. The water and company were perfect.

I'm hoping Blogfest Redux is a cruise, but if it's not, I'm taking one with CBW's mother anyway. I loved those two, so thank you for the memories in pictures.

That Meg...what a trooper!!

I'm so glad you all had such a marvelous time. Even with Grandma J there...she's nothing but trouble. :)

It's too funny that you guys like those Whoopie pies. I gag just thinking about them. But hey, I do love Moon Pies. And a coke. Mmmmmm.

I missed the hot tub dip - love that photo! Audrey, the whoopie pies? I took 3 bites and had to stop. too sweet. But yummy!

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to transcribe that recipe onto an index card and file it in the front of my recipe box, where I keep all my most favorite ones.
