The Beginning & The End

Much to my dismay, Blog Fest '09 has come and gone. Thanks to all of the fabulous ladies (and gentlemen) who made it possible. If you'd like to "visit" the attendees, head over to Chesapeake Bay Woman's site for a complete list!

I am struggling to corral my thoughts enough to organize a post, so today I'll just share the beginning...

Wine glass designed by Meg at Soup Is Not A Finger Food. Wine label designed by Laurie at Foolery. Thanks, Girls! You're the best!

...and the end.

Miss you guys!

Miss you so much!

Thank you a million times over for putting this together along with CBW. I just don't even have words right now to articulate how amazing this past weekend was. And to top it off, I got to meet someone who has rapidly become one of my favourite people out here and a close friend!

Come visit us here in Maine. My asylum is your asylum!

Meg sends hugs and says she can't wait to see you again...which, by the looks of things won't be too terribly long from now.

I'm still in a daze over the fast pace, fun filled weekend. Thank you for all you did putting this event together with CBW. And of course all you did for me, schlepping me back and forth to the airport and taking me to meet your beautiful Snow White and that Hunky Cool Breeze...and yes, Dodger! I also enjoyed all the hustle and bustle at your great church, and all the wonderful members of your congregation that were putting VBS together.

Love you so much, and I can't wait for the next blogfest!!

Just like 'The Hokey Pokey', that last picture's what it's all about.

I wish I could bottle that sunset and all the laughter and merriment on the beach - it would cure every ill out there.

Big Canadian Hugs.

How much fun! Seeing the photo of the wine glass and wine bottle, why, it's almost like being there. :-)

You are such a treasure, Miss Angie. Just loved meeting you, and you have a gift for making people feel welcome -- even when it isn't actually your home! I now fully understand Southern Hospitality, and I feel like my own Southern roots have been unearthed a bit. If my tethers to this big ol' state out west are ever loosened, I would move to Virginia in a heartbeat, based on the people I met and the places I've seen.

Can't quite imagine painting a fence or waxing a car or gardening in that humidity, so it's a damned good thing I don't do any of those things. ; )

Big fat sloppy loves to you, my dear, and thank you from the bottom of my heart,

Laurie @ Foolery
