South Beach - Week 6

Copyright © djart/0012/ImageEnvision.com
Welcome to Week 6 of the Blogger Butt Smackdown diet challenge! Are you still with me? I hope so:)

I told you last week that I was struggling with some unhealthy cravings. Well, I gave in...just enough to keep the craving monster at bay! CB and I went out to eat twice over the weekend. Friday night, I ate one bite of garlic bread (best. bite. ever.) and a small amount of angel hair pasta, along with my salad and grilled salmon. Saturday night, I ate two small red potatoes with my 4 oz. steak and broccoli. I also ate a bite of Snow White's dessert - some sort of triple chocolate cake devil!!! Amazingly enough, I am now back on track, and thrilled to be eating my healthy stuff again:) It didn't take OVERindulging to satisfy me. (That's a relief.)

The weather in Virginia has been BEAUTIFUL the past few days! Warmer temperatures force me to realize that bathing suit season is not too far away....which is the kick in the pants I need to stick with this weight-loss program. The warmer temps also remind me that the Virginia Blog Fest will be here before we know it! Go over and get registered if you haven't done so already!!! The photo at the top of the page illustrates just ONE of the many fun activities being planned. The blonde in the front? That's Chesapeake Bay Woman...our fearless leader:)

Have a fabulous Monday!

Love, BHE

My mom is doing weight watchers.. and her "leader" says that the weekends are for rewarding yourself for your strong week of dieting.

So, I consider your little cheats to be little rewards. :)

Glad you are back to it this week.

I'm the one with the (beer)sunlotion in her hand! OK I am on the list! Does this spell F.U.N. or what?
Proud of you for getting back on track. I had some pizza this weekend and it sure was tasty! I did the moderation thing! It works.
Back on the salad now!
Lub ya!
ps~we're still laughing at the bean!

You are doing fantastic!!! I am really proud of you that you were able to take bites and then be done with it. I have not reached that level yet or is it fear that I won't be able to stop with one bite. You will be in great bathing suit shape before you know it.

I am enjoying this weather while we got it.

I am checking on some conflicts in dates before I commit to the blogfest.

Way to go! Good for you. It's amazing when a bite of bread qualifies as an indulgence...I won't tell you what I had this weekend.

THE BLOG FEST IS GOING TO BE AWESOME, but I'm sorry I no longer wear bikinis, and did not participate in the blogger butt smackdown, so we'll have to draw another person in that picture up there, preferably one with a wine glass in her hand....

Great job on the diet/new way of life and the fitting in skinny jeans, that is really very impressive.l

I'm so proud of you! You are doing so good with this diet thing!! I'm the one hiding in the back beside Noe Noe- oh wait, That's not me.... that girl is skinny! Just think this summer when we go on our beach trip (which will now be an annual trip), you will be skinny and I will still be a beached whale, which will make you look even skinnier. God I am such a good friend!!

You really are something. One bite of garlic bread? That's mind boggling. I would have thought, "Well, my breath stinks now so I might as well finish the entire loaf."

I am really happy for you! What restraint.

What fabulous willpower you have. I am in awe. Especially when it comes to potatoes. I'd give my left leg if it came to that or giving up potatoes. *lol*

BTW...I'm in the "needs encouragement to say yes" came over at the Blogfest page! *lol*
