It was definitely time to go for the color, so I scheduled an appointment as I left. Yesterday, I went in and we discussed what color highlights would go best with my hair. When she mentioned "caramel" I envisioned something a bit closer to my natural color. This is BLONDE my friends!!
I felt a bit guilty because my first reaction was more SHOCK than LOVE! I didn't HATE it, but I knew that it was going to take a bit of getting used to. My magician told me that the first time she highlighted her hair she cried, but that she loved it within 48 hours!!! We're almost to 24 here, and it's already starting to grow on me;)

You look fabulous! Seriously! Do you feel like you're having more fun yet?
I think it looks amazing!! You could even go a little lighter with some framing around your face...that's the great thing about going lighter...if you really don't like it, you can always go darker, but I think blonde is working for you. Enjoy!!!
I love it! And it looks so much better than Cdubs foot! Come see.
<><
10? Are you kidding?? Fifteen is more like it and the color brings attention to your gorgeous eyes. Really!
Seriously, you look fab!!! I bet those highlights just sparkle in the sunshine:)
Honey .. its suits you .. and that phone camera? It takes 15 yrs off you .. mainly because it flattens out all your features! GAH... love the hair color .. now go get a better photo!
Thanks for the reality check, Daryl! I was beginning to wonder where my ego was going to sleep tonight...the house just isn't big enough!! Bwahahahaha!!
I love it sooooooo much! Seriously. Also, after reading Daryls comment I will only let people take pictures of me with a cell phone camera. smooches!
How funny.
I also visited my magician TWICE this week. The first time for a cut, the 2nd for highlights.
You look mawwwwwvalllllouuuuuus.
I do love it.
Brightens up your whole face....and we all know about your sunny disposition. Now your hair matches your personality!
Money well spent.
This is such a relief. First of all, it looks wonderful. Fabulous. Second of all, you have no idea how many times I've asked myself where the dark hair came from, since I've seen both (and practically wanted to marry one) of your parents and didn't notice any dark hair there.
LOVE IT!
Oh, My!! Forget fabulous, dahling.
How about Spectacular!!!
And 10 years? I'd guess-timate (if I was being pressured)(which I am not)(not) I'd say at least 20.
Welcome to Blonde-World, hon. It is just awesome. xxoo
It does look great! I really need to bite the bullet and cover my grey too.
You *do* look fabulous! I love the new 'do,' and highlights. Looking forward to more photos!
OMG! I had no idea you were in your 20's!.... Er, teens? ;-)
No, really it is very pretty and if you feel like it's coming on too strong for you, (being used to your natural color), it will start to tone down in a couple of weeks anyway. But in the meantime, I can see no reason why you wouldn't get used to it and love it.;-) I do!
A. I LUV LUV LUV it!!! Seriously, and HONESTLY you look YOUNGER!!!
I suggest you keep the style and color for at least the next 10 years. Truthfully you have a special "sparkle" surrounding you! <3
I think it's stunning!
Girlfriend....you look Maaarrvulusss!
You really DO look fabulous! I know, everyone's said it already, but I'm trying to catch up!
