7

My BFF, Predo, has tagged me for a meme! I am supposed to tell you seven random things about moi, and then tag seven others. Well, you all know that I am not much of a tagger, so feel free to use this one if you need a cute post one day this week;)

Predo's instructions indicated that I was NOT allowed to mention anything about my beloved Aqua Net....because it's been done to death. ***GASP*** Soooooooo, I guess there's nothing more for me to write.....HAHAHAHA!!! Just kidding!

Seven Random Things About Me

1. I'm a morning person. And a summer person.

2. I often wish there were NO television sets in my home.

3. My hair is SO baby-fine, that I'm confident I will be bald by the age of 60.

4. I am still in awe of the number of friends that I have made through blogging. Each one of you has added something special to my life.

5. Most of the time I drive like an old lady. I don't go much over the speed limit because I'm terrified of getting a speeding ticket (Grandma J).

6. When I was very young, I wanted to be a model. Unfortunately, genetics determined that it was not meant to be. I got the short genes.... Probably saved me a lot of grief!

7. I enjoy cooking, and can be a bit of a food snob. Life is too short to eat bad food!

Any questions??

MPM - I have several faves: sausage & spinach lasagna, corn pudding, cheesecake, veggie pasta salad, and, recently, crabcakes. Typically, I don't really use a recipe, I just sort of throw it all together (except the cheesecake!)...that's the FUN part!

NNG - Thanks! (What gift would you like me to bring you THIS Sunday?) ;)

I was going to ask the same thing MPM asked and I'm glad she did. Corn pudding? What is that? Is it easy to make? Can I ruin it? Would the Little Imp eat it? *lol*

I think I'm going to borrow your list. I'm really running out of steam at yea old asylum. Well, that's not entirely true, but wait till you see tomorrow's post and you'll understand a bit better.

AUDS - Corn pudding is an under-appreciated southern dish. It consists of corn, sugar, milk, eggs, flour & butter. The consistency is the most important thing...some people bake it and leave it too runny - GROSS! I have a fool-proof recipe that I will send you. I have a hunch that the Imp will ask for seconds;)

And cheese for dessert is a good thing... "life is too short for scrimping on anything you enjoy" .. I am considering a t-shirt or pillow with this engraved/stitched and definitely copyWriting it ...

I used to be a morning person, then I retired and forced myself to stay up late so I could sleep in. Now I want to be a morning person again.

I hate it when cops deliberately insist on using defective radar equipment.

You definitely could be a model and most certainly your daughter could!

And I"m so relieved to hear that you'll be preparing all the food for Blog Fest, because that is what you said, isn't it?

(Actually, my mother and friends cook very well, so we can help out, just kidding. Sort of.)
