The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly

THE GOOD

-The sun is shining today.

-The contractor is planning to start on our garage enclosure tomorrow.

-Our driveway is finally clear of blizzard debris.

THE BAD

-It rained for five straight days.

-I still have to clean a few things out of the garage, and I'm not sure how long my washer & dryer will be out of commission.

-It's now painfully obvious that we need about 3289739472 tons of gravel to get the driveway in shape.

THE UGLY

-Our company health insurance is up for renewal, and I am currently "shopping" for a less expensive policy. Zzzzzzzzz...

Sounds like you need a "bailout"!

I think I am in need of one too!
Remember DO NOT BUY GRAVEL until it dries out~you will be paying for rainwater.

BTW~you are welcome to come over and do your laundry~we can "sip" wine together!

Wow, that NNG is really smart - I never would have thought of that!

Can you add me in on that group policy? Individual health insurance is really, REALLY expensive!

Oh the joys of remodeling. Singing to the choir sister.
Health insurance? I will pray for you. We just got new policies. They are crap and they cost major bucks....For crap I tell YOU!!!

good luck...Suz

I wanna go do my laundry at NNG's house too. Do you think she has enough wine?

Oh the headaches! The cost of being in busines is sinful. I don't know how anyone swings the cost of it all anymore. Especially with all the mandated taxes and regulations. I'm packing my laundry right now, and I don't care which one of you do it for me.

Let's all go down to NNG'S!

We'll get a slaw, burger, fries and a bottle of Ski (or wine)
Bring it on out to my baby and me.

If you are not familiar with this song, you are probably thinking I'm nuts!

See, I would have put the "cleaning out the garage" part first and foremost under the UGLY heading. Insurance shopping does sound painful, but cleaning to me is even worse.

As if you didn't have enough to deal with...the insurance policy shopping in THIS economic environment is enough to kill ANYONE! Oiy! You have my deepest sympathies.

Don't even get me started on health insurance. $*#$(#*$)#$!!

As much as I love rain, the sun shine is greatly welcomed! :)

You should just drop everything and come to california to visit.

Do you think if I took my bottomless laundry baskets to NNG's house she would do my laundry? I bet after enough wine I could get her too.

I'm not even going to get started on the health insurance... I'll just let that one go for now

Ps... I have an update on the bathroom incident !

Gravel is expensive. Make it go a long way by spraying it with Aqua Net. AN will fill in any holes and make the gravel stick together. After all, you have ALL of the Aqua Net in the South (prob East, West, and North, too) stored away.

Just another lil' redneck tip from The Traierpark!

Sounds like the perfect time for a big glass of wine and a bubble bath. (Funny how I always find a way to work in a bubble bath. Hmmmm, there may be something here. I should have one for you as well!)

I am SO glad you left the shopping for insurance coverage part till the last. Yuck!
Spring is so welcome, yet so messy with all the rain. ;-)

Oh no. At least there are some good things to be thankful about.... A few good things make those bad things a little less awful!
